Frog deformities are serious matters. Musical deformities are refreshing, not so serious matters.

Our music has been described as having an unusual number of parts, beats, and/or genres. Oftentimes, one chorus is shorter than the other. A mandolin solo growing out of a funk beat? Whatever. The asymmetrical jazz-to-rock ratio causes the music to limp in circles while the overall musical hue seems more apt coming from the bar next to the nuclear plant than from an ecosystem serving imported beer, port, Brie*... and Scale.
